There are likely many other exciting & new ways that Future Genetics Advocate Consultants are key for Genetic Counselors
and the team, in the academic, corporate, clinical or research communities. "Advocacy" hours or experience is usually
required before becoming a genetic counselor and even opening your own practice. However, many graduates and students
find satisfying careers in other creative ways. Below is just a small sample of other industry ways that educated people find a
rewarding speciality, and apply their highly specialized education in other ways. Even as their "day job". Links below are
some consultant areas, where they could use people just like you. These are just a very few External Links:

'So you wanna be a highly specialized Counselor'? Why not just Keep It Simple (i.e., the K.I.S. Principle). Be a Genetic
Counseling Advocate. (Advocate For Genetic Counseling.) However, a Genetic Counselor can develop their own office,
clinic, who they work for, or can even open a private practice themselves. It's up to you to research Legal Authorities for
particular State and/or Federal regulations. For
some Legal Authorities are published, and others are by professional
standards and community practices. If you really feel the need to " go all the way", then there might be some shortcuts. How
do you think others are getting ahead, coming in from all around the global market?
Alternative Pathways.

Some Career Secretes & Alternative Pathways
, for choosing genetics as your profession, in the alternative, to help enhance
your current career and profession to an even greater level than the others around you. Ease into it. Try becoming a
member of a "Society". Alternatively, try becoming an "Affiliate" or "Student" membership. Try several, and join as many as
you can. (The "paper chase" concept, be a "paper tiger".) Excel by going beyond a COD course, as the
Future Genetics
Certification. Try some of the following alternative pathways or third paths. 1. Go get a "Masters". A "Masters" in anything,
using "work experiences" or so called "experienced learners" hours and credit. Go to so called "Non-Traditional" and
Traditional programs, "online" or not. Virtually every college and University have online, e-campus programs in this global
age of learning trends. (Market demands.) 2. Go validate any work, life experiences and other credits that you already have
achieved. For example, become a member of a "Society". Generally, it's easier, there are more levels of entry involvement,
an ease of credentials, and it's less costly. There are "Associations" that you can join and become a member, too. However,
they're more valuable, they're more expensive to join. Depending on the Association that you may consider joining and entry
level available to you, based upon your education,etc.... For some, it's just about getting your membership fees. So, you
need not try too hard. Or, to pay too much. Gain entry level with the least cost and energy. The "path of least resistance" law
of nature. Join even for "entry level", as a participant. Society, Affiliation, Association, Patron, memberships are just a few
terms of art that entities or professional bodies use to classify members. There are an increased number of people around
you getting the Ph.D, "doctorates", and various "Master" degrees from online sources. In this country and others.

Whatever your current status, education or career might be now, think about making the most of it. Below are some
Non-Traditional ways that people use their education and careers in other ways. To advance to even greater levels.

Many
Continuing Education professionals have already achieved a Masters level and/or higher equivalent education, with
additional practical "life" or "work" experiences. Beyond the walls of an academic world or beyond a virtual global cyberspace
education. The Future Is Yours. Program Yourself. What course do you want to take to chart out your own future? The same
ones as everyone else? "Think out of the box." Think about having the highly specialized course,
